Remember the picture I showed last week of Maggie Valley, the town where The Herd lives:
I took the picture last week about 20 feet down the trail from where I took this picture this morning – essentially between the trees you see on the right and left of the picture below. Yep, the fog was that thick this morning that you could not see a single trace of the valley below or the next range.
So the lack of view might humble the photographer, but do you think the dogs care? Check out Rusty in the first picture and Kodiak in the second. Looks like they are having a good time no matter what:

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Fog? who cares about fog as long as we can be out on the trail with our Moms and Dads! Sounds like a great day!

I’m pretty sure that huskies don’t care about visibility. We’ll run into any weather!

We would rather have had your foggy view than our rainy one. Pups look furry happy to us.
Woos and wags, the OP Pack
They look pretty happy to me!

I might not see all the scenery BUT I do see some happy pups!
My view is a bit obskhured too – but it is haze and humidity!!
