We are now entering our eighth day in a row of rain, totaling 5.11″ or 13 cm, with several more days expected. In response, Her Majesty Queen Natasha the Evil has issued a new royal decree.
I, Queen Natasha the Evil, do hereby decree . . .
All of the rain and mud has severely hampered our ability to get outside, take walks or hikes, or otherwise exercise. Thus, Hu-Dad is getting the joy of dealing with not only that wonderful wet dog aroma but also some pent-up energy.
All members of The Herd may go totally crazy and wreak havoc inside!
Needless to say, that has led to some massive indoor games of “tackle-wrestle-bitey face-body slam-tag you’re it.” Long time readers know that is our all-time favorite game, but Hu-Dad usually insists it is done outside.
I further decree that no canine shall be held responsible for any damage indoors until this weather abates. I see nothing.
Unfortunately, the rebellion against Hu-Dad’s indoor restrictions is growing and the Queen seems to be leading the free-for-alls.
