Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?
October 29, 2024
Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.
Did woo see me under the tree?

PeeEssWoo: Hey Q: Brice’s Momma is here with ME!!!
That is a huge tree. Now, I’m wondering what kind it is and when it will get leaves?
The photos are gorgeous, with the blue sky, green grass, and red team.
Wow..that is a big tree. Sure is pretty though.
Now THAT really puts in in perspective.
Happy Easter.

Is it one tree, or several that grew together? The trunk is so wide and gnarled-looking! It’s definitely one big tree!
Yeowzers! That tree is crazy-big!

What a majestic tree! That is so pawsome! I would love to live near a tree like that. Can you imagine the history of pee-mail on that tree? You would know what pups centuries ago were woofing about!
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
Suka
I think that is the biggest tree I ever saw!
I didn’t realize it was so big!

What a cool, big fluffy tree. Trees can make some of the most interesting subject for photos.
What kind of tree is it? It is very big indeed!
Sam
From a distance, it looks climb-able. Ever tried it?
Kisses,
Stella
That’s BIG alright!!
Cheers,
Maxx
I’m stopping by today to visit your blog because of the Life with Dogs Blog Hop. Hello Thundering Herd! We have only one Siberian Husky and that’s plenty. Don’t know how you handle six!
Visit my blog (www.pet-peeves.org) as today I’m memorializing the 100 sled dogs that were slaughtered in British Columbia. It’s the HOWL heard around the world today. Cheers!
I love big, old trees like that. They really do seem to have character, don’t they? It’s great to watch them change with the seasons too. What an amazing planet we share. Have a lovely weekend!
Goodness, it is still naked!
Can’t wait to watch that tree display it’s seasons.
That’s a huge and beautiful tree!!! Wonder how many years old it is…? How beautiful it must be as it changes each season.
Wow! That’s a big tree – it would make us look tiny 😉
