We were just quietly sitting in a parking lot minding our own business.
When a car parked beside us and a very curious - and vocal - neighbor made his presence known.
Well, more than one vocal neighbor.
Natasha led the way, but the Entire Herd leaned out of the Jeep to make their acquaintance.
Whoa! Maybe barking is not the best idea.
P.S. – Have no fear. The temperature was around 25F (-4C), so the dogs in the neighboring car were not in any danger (and their humans were just a few feet away). Oh, and The Herd wears seat belts, so there was no escaping the Jeep.

That sure can make a boring parking lot more interesting!
Got to be scary, to be a small dog (although they don’t think of themselves as small) who barks up a whole herd of big dogs. Probably learned a bit of a lesson on that one that could last up to a week or longer.

Haha, I can just imagine the two little Westies thinking they could out bark or intimidate that one husky in the other car…then being surprised by 6 of them!!

We need to see a long shot from inside the vehicle. I’m dying to see what the herd looks like buckled up for safety.

They say fences make good neighbors. In this case we see that windows are a good substitute. Cute little Westies, but they can really be rather boisterous.

One time, our dogs had parking lot neighbors. The neighbors barked and jumped around so much that they set off their car alarm. It was very funny but must have hurt the poor dogs’ ears.

So did you all become friends in the end?
Love the similar ‘eye intensity’ in the first two pictures. So interesting how dogs match each other. Maybe so it’s easier to notice when one becomes submissive and one dominate.
