Lots of snow! Loved the video. 🙂

What beautiful dogs! What a fun blog. Br-r-r! Where we live we don’t see snow except in the mountains. It’s 65 degrees here today and that’s uncommonly cold. But we do see a beautiful dog like yours on our walks in the hills!

  5. hisqueen on January 11, 2011 at 9:24 am

Roo is just doubling as your back knee heater and fall pillow..just in case he nudges too hard and causes you to slip, he’s there for you.

  6. FiveSibesMom on January 11, 2011 at 1:56 am

  13. Sagira on January 10, 2011 at 5:20 pm

  14. Wild Dingo on January 10, 2011 at 4:45 pm

    Rusty is WHACK!

you call that WALKING with the Roo? more like sauntering or hopping…

and holy moly that is a lot of snow!

  15. elmo & mouse on January 10, 2011 at 2:04 pm

    Rusty:

Our hu-mom said that it sure looked like you were trying to step on your hu-dad’s feet and trip him.

Nevertheless, it is very cute & awesome!!

  16. The OP Pack on January 10, 2011 at 12:27 pm

Look at all that snow! We got some too, should be 5-7 inches by the time it stops. The Momster is having a hard time getting any good pics of us because she is stuck inside with three sick kids:(

Rusty, you just crack us up.

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

  17. brooke & Darwin on January 10, 2011 at 12:15 pm

    hahaha I love Rusty’s walk!
    So much snow!!!!

  18. Kristine on January 10, 2011 at 12:03 pm

That’s pretty much how it looked here yesterday! I think you were all very brave to go out in the elements like that. I love all the swooshing tails.

  19. Houndstooth on January 10, 2011 at 11:30 am

Rusty!!!! You have no idea how I love you! I just hope that our girls never take notes. I love how happy Kiska’s tail is, too!

So, does that much snow mean a snow day where the Hu-Dad gets to stay home and take you for lots of walks like that today? I’m guessing you get quite a bit there, so how much does it take to shut things down for you?

  20. Stumpy and cyndi on January 10, 2011 at 10:40 am

That snow looks great, from waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over here!

Rusty’s walking like that just slays me! I have to think, though, that it would come in handy on an uphill climb!

  21. Shawnee the Shepherd on January 10, 2011 at 9:07 am

Thanks fur the instrucshonal video, Rusty! I woz doing it all rong. Yesterday we had to hike ofur 4 dikes and dams where there woz no trees to block the 20 mph icy cold winds and it woz freezing inside my ears. I kept trying to go to the udder side of mom’s legs. Now I now I must put my head atween her legs from behind like you did to keep the ears warm. Thanks, buddy!

  22. KB on January 10, 2011 at 8:32 am

Those are some happy looking dogs! I bet that they wish that the snow would never be plowed. Rusty is hysterical. Even a simple walk is an occasion for silliness!

  23. Carolyn on January 10, 2011 at 8:15 am

Rusty is just so bizarre, but it was great to see Natasha bouncing around as always! Love the crunch of the snow but man, I am spoiled, living where snow like that doesn’t happen. Then again, I would love to take my puppies out like that, let them dig in snow deep enough to lose half their bodies in. SO DEPRIVED!!!

    maybe someday…

  24. Life With Dogs on January 10, 2011 at 8:11 am

Just wow – oh, and better you than me! 🙂

  25. priscilla on January 10, 2011 at 7:47 am

This is really called ‘snowy walk’!!!
Brrrrrrrrr…. my teeth are shattering now…

  26. Khyra on January 10, 2011 at 6:43 am

    Anyway…

Where is Khyra in that video?

Our furiend Puddles is almost buried up to the top of her Doxie head in SC – she says they might get 8″ – I’m not sure if three Doxies stakhked would be able to maneuver!

    Hugz&Khysses,
    Khyra

  27. Carol's Critter Corner on January 10, 2011 at 2:05 am

I’m just cold looking at it!

  28. Khumbu on January 10, 2011 at 1:52 am

Woooo that is some seriously deep snow, what fun. We would like some of that outside our door 🙂
