Oooh! Abby’s subtle like that, too! 😉

Buddy just stares and drools like Pavlov’s dog.

I don’t know how they’d get the plates clean without you, Tartok! What a helpful guy you are!

When my dad sits with a plate in the living room he has three staring at him (not me, I have better manners and besides with the others by dad, I go to momma). Dad says he’s on a “Three Eskie Diet!”

Same scene here when Dad sits with his plate, but he gets surrounded by three of us and gets the heavy stare from Phantom.

i’m thinkin’ he’s learning a trick or two from the newbie…

You know, Tartok, a lot of times when peoples are finished with their plate, they will OFFER it to you and you won’t have to sit with your tongue hanging out begging for it. Its called being patient. Give it a try sometime.

    Kisses,
    Stella

Ryker likes to pre-rince the dishes too. He is a drooler when it comes to food.

  12. Kristine on December 14, 2010 at 1:35 pm

It looks like Tartok subtlety is the same as Shiva subtlety, i.e. sit directly in front of the person with food and stare until she gives in. And she will always give in.

Meanwhile, sweet Ruby waits to pounce!

We have found the pre-wash cycle to be most thorough for our dishes.

Tartok is very smart! He’s just waiting to clean up any crumbs!

    Hi Y’all!
Now that is my idea of a great time!

Tartok…here you are offering your services as dishwasher for free!!! We offer this same special to our humans…they are not always appreciative of it though…we don’t understand why!!!

In our house, subtlety means there are no ribbons of drool yet.

  19. Stumpy and cyndi on December 14, 2010 at 8:29 am

I’m thinking Tartok doesn’t really want to wait to clean the plate.

Stumpy has a selection of chairs, pillows and beds throughout the house (and outside) but that one is her favorite! Especially in the winter when it might be a little chillier than she likes. And just so you know I don’t spoil Stumpy all her chairs are thrift store finds! Stumpy leads a rough life!

  20. KB on December 14, 2010 at 8:28 am

So very subtle! Did he bark about the plate of food? R sometimes stares and stares and stares, and then breaks into a frenzy of barking!

  21. Pamela on December 14, 2010 at 7:18 am

Subtle is better than a mouthful of husky fur when you try to take your next bite!

  22. Kari on December 14, 2010 at 6:57 am

    I don’t think thats what subtle means…
