Clear, Cold Days

After a few days of cold rains and heavy fogs, Saturday dawned bright, clear and cold. We love these special days and enjoyed all of the normalcy around us.

The moon setting over bare trees.

Our favorite tree has lost all of its leaves.

Cataloochee Ski is busy making snow.

The Herd is out hiking.

What more can you want out of a Saturday?

Our girls love the colder air as well. Beautiful weather with cold crip mornings and then some sun. The leaf folks are gone and the Christmas folks haven’t arrived. Perfect for hiking!

What a beautiful, crisp day. I miss sunny winter days.

Before I moved to Ithaca, I read that it had as many cloudy days as Seattle, WA. And I moved here anyway!

Oh, well. Thanks for sharing your sunshine!

No, you cannot want another thing. Heaven on Earth.

Now, if my TWO dogs could ever look as neatly aligned as the Herd during a walk, I could take a photo like that one!
