Isn’t it funny how our definition of a good Saturday night changes as we get older? To convert for our dog readers, this conversion chart says I am between 6 and 7 and this conversion chart says I am 8. Either way, my idea of a perfect Saturday night is an idyllic camping spot watching the sun set over the lake. I was taking pictures of the sunset when I turned and saw the dogs on the drop line after a good hike and a dinner and realized – this is the perfect Saturday night!

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.
Is there room in the thundering herd for one more red sibe? I wannna go camping. I wanna ride in the big dog truck. I promise not to eat too much.
