The Beauty of June

One of the great things about where we live is that every month is beautiful for some reason.

As we warm up - and with normal rainfall this year, June brings the explosion of blooms to our mountains.

And the Catawba Rhododendron - which is found on much of the ridges over 5000 feet - is beautiful this year.

As always, the weekend will find us on the trails enjoying the beauty. Wanna go hiking?

Oh yeah, I remember tons of rhododendron when we were in Asheville and Shenandoah. Not to mention mountain laurel!

I might just have a snooze on the couch while you go hiking, if that’s alright.
