Our official weatherman predicted the heavy snow would not fall on us. Sadly, he was correct and this was decidedly not a blizzard.
The winter storm that crossed over us promised to hammer the mountains just to our west. Parts of the Tennessee / North Carolina border above 4500 foot elevation saw two feet of snow. Sadly, just as predicted (at least by the not-trying-to-get-clicks professionals), we barely saw a dusting of snow. Landon and Typhoon might have more snow on their coats than on our greenway.

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.
Just got home from “looking for snow”!! Only found a trace in the higher hills here in upstate NY. Ruby is bummed out.
I think the Sierras and Rocky Mnts. take it before it gets to you. :- (

I’m not sure Hu-Dad IF you are happy that no blizzard appeared OR if the Herd is unhappy it didn’t?!!
