Our humans complain they and 40,000 other Asheville residents can’t get water, so we’ve become bottled water canines.
The deep freeze Christmas weekend caused an unexpected issue for us—we lost our water. Well, us and about 40,000 of our neighbors here in the Southern part of Asheville. The humans did the best they could, including boiling what water we had before drinking, but with the taps totally dry, they scoured the area yesterday for bottled water. We think that’s great, but are we supposed to lap water out of a bottle?
Oh, apparently, we are supposed to wait on the humans to pour it in our bowls. Who knew?
P.S. – The city is reporting they are “making progress” on the failure that started December 24, so we have hope that we will soon see water coming out of our faucets. That’s good because the humans need a bath. Isn’t it fun when we get to say that?

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?
October 29, 2024
Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.
How miserable and yet you manage some humor. (I did read an article about it.)
Hope it is fixed soon. ??
That picture says it all! Of course the humans need to pour the water into the dog bowls! I really hope the water is restored VERY soon Hu-Dad so that you all can take a bath-lol
