During yesterday’s post, we made a comment about Typhoon growling at weeds. Based on reader reaction, we decided to explain this further.
We described yesterday how Typhoon can be a wee bit temperamental when it comes to posing for photographs. At the end of the post, we mentioned that our Little Prince was digging weeds out of the yard and growling at them. Based on reader comments, some of you think this is unusual behavior.
So let’s explain this from Typhoon’s perspective. Soft grass feels good under paws. Crabgrass tickles the feety-feet. No one, but no one, is allowed to tickle the Little Prince’s feety-feet. Therefore, crabgrass is evil and must be ripped out of the ground and then told to go away with a clear growl. Now doesn’t this all make perfect sense?

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.

We can’t work on the fence until the siding is complete because of the scaffolding. We hope in a few weeks. Hu-Dad would love to see less racing in the house and more outside. 🙂

It makes perfect sense. One of my dogs does the same. He also barks at thunder and it goes away.

Hu-Dad I did read yesterday about NOBODY or ANYTHING touching the Little Prince’s feety-feet-lol. I do understand Typhoon-I don’t like things like sand etc touching MY feety feet although I don’t growl at it!!! Do you want to come to my yard and pull up some weeds??? I could use the help since I don’t use any type of poison spray where the dogs are!
We have long been the same way—no chemicals including fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides within the dog zone.
