After a stretch of mild, spring-like weather, winter returns to our mountains for a while. Our resident Cheesewhiz was not happy about it.

Why is the ground white and the air cold? Winter returns with a vengeance.

Just a couple of days ago, we were enjoying walks in the park and ample sunshine. We woke up Monday morning to frigid temperatures and swirling snow. Our highs struggled to reach the low 20’s and winds roared through our fur. Cheoah decided only one place was right for her.

And the return of cold weather also prompted the return of something else that makes Miss Cheoah quite happy.

So with the return of winter for the foreseeable future, Cheoah says you know exactly where to find her.

    I see the dog in the smoke pattern too. It looks like one of the sibs. How awesome is that to catch on a camera! One of the past dogs is watching over them.

    Miss Cheoah-I don’t blame you at all. I am jealous of that nice comfy couch and roaring fire! I wish I could lay down with you and we could wake up when Spring finally returns-lol I guess you wouldn’t want to share though.
