Zapping Energy Via Walks

Once again, waves of rain rolled over us last night, but we took advantage of a break to get a walk in, zapping energy from a certain prince.

So when are we walking?

So when are we walking?

Our mountain weather continues – waves of rain crossing over the ridges and giving us several soakings a day. But Hu-Dad knows that our nightly walks are important.

Alert! Movement in the brush!

Alert! Movement in the brush!

Just a simple walk around the neighborhood? Why oh why do we need to walk every night? Why does the Hu-Dad think the nightly stroll is so important?

Zapping energy of the Little Prince (not to mention a dirty bandage).

A tired Sibe is a good Sibe…it’s probably worth her to g a bit wet if it slows one certain Prince down a little. Stay safe Herd. With there only being 2 seniors, and 2 juniors remaining, you’ll have to look out for each other. Take the Husky SRV and head for dry land! After all 4 wet fluffy dogs can make one smelly road trip!???? Take care Hu dad and Herd!

I agree that last evening walk is a good one! Makes a little 97# puppy dog sleepy!
I hope you are all safe from the approaching hurricane! You will all be in our thoughts and prayers ❤️????

Get ready for more soggy doggies! Been raining off and on here too in Little Switzerland, NC. Prepping for Florence. Got 4 -30lb of dog food from TSC. Filling 8 -5 gal carboys with clean water for when the power goes out(on 440 deep well at 3,600ft next to Blue Ridge Parkway. Bet Overmountain Victory Celebration and reenactment will not be held at MP 331 at NC Mineral Muesum outside grounds. Back in 1780 I think they did the march from Tenn/NC border to Kings Mtn in 10 days rain or shine and defeated Major Feurgenson(he died of several lead balls and the Tories. Lesson: Don’t make idle threats that you are going to burn and lay waste and kill the leaders of the British opposition, Mtn people do not take kindly to those threats!!! # hour power outage last night, guess we are practicing for the big one this weekend! Stay dry and safe everyone at the Thundering Herd and friends!

Oh Typhoon Phooey-I see the PINK bandage is still needed? You REALLY need to keep away from your boo-boo and let it heal!!! Too funny that Hu-Dad THINKS you need your nightly walk but if he didn’t take you-it would be upsetting-lol!!!
