Very, very late in the season, but at least our weather has finally begun. We are sharing some snow pictures in today’s blog.
Our first round of snow Thursday night was very light with snow showers during the day on Friday. Barely a half inch of snow fell, but we are still quite happy.
Friday night and Saturday are supposed to be much better with 5-6 inches of more snow. Plus, the temperatures are not even to reach the teens, so it should stick around. Perfectly Siberian Husky weather.
Since we can still see the grass, we aren’t calling this official yet, but our hopes are high for much more.
And, yes, even the new boy enjoyed the snow.
Even Cheesewhiz got up from the couch and left the comfort of the fireplace to enjoy some Siberian Snow Games.

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.

Yayyyy!!! A wee bit of snow for the winter games!!!! And lots more to come… good times are on the way ????????????
We got some over here in Bristol yesterday/last night. Leena went to goto the bathroom this morning and it was like someone had changed her batteries. Bouncing around, running to her spot, then completely ignoring all commands or anything generally, except wagging her tail when you spoke to stand in the snow and look around, or give herself a snow nose.
its great!
Nodding. Sibes in fresh snow are like kids in a candy store – happy, happy, happy.
That is so wonderful. I am do happy for all of you. I know you have been waiting for this for a long time. Enjoy it. We lost all of our snow. We may get it back, but if not then that’s ok. Hugs and kisses to the herd.
Enjoy the Sibe weather guys! It was very hot where I am today in Micronesia. I envy you.
