Tartok and Ruby played host and hostess to the Hu-Dad last night. He crossed the valley to have dinner with Hu-Grandmom (and the dogs, of course). Let’s check in on their superb hosting skills.
Ruby finished all of her eye drops this week, so she has been released from the Canine Opthamologist (aka, the Seeing Eye Doc). We never determined the exact cause of her eye pain, but at least it has all been eliminated. We do not expect her to regain eyesight in the right eye, but we also don’t know how long ago the blindness started. The doctors believe she has not been able to see through that eye for a very long time. The lack of sight from one eye does not bother her, so we have just decided not to let it bother us.
Tartok hosted with his usual reserved personality.
Well, maybe not so reserved. At least “The Dude” was social before his early bed-time. Though his bed-time arrived long before sunset and the departure of his guest.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Looking beautiful as ever Ruby a one Tartok! Big hugs to you two????
