“Though it was still very sad to say goodbye, it was time to let her go.” With those words, my sister let me know that her beloved feline friend of over 18 years has gone to The Rainbow Bridge. Taz had simply become too weakened with cancer to continue the fight, and so she was helped in her last steps here on earth. My sister was right in describing her as “one happy kitty her entire life.”
So Taz now joins Miss Kitty (my sister’s first cat – all black) and Sasha at the Rainbow Bridge. This is what my sister meant when she ended her message, “Just think, she is now terrorizing Miss Kitty and Sasha. Kitty heaven will never be the same.”
Amen. Rest well Taz.
And take care, Sis. I am thinking of you.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
What a cute kitty cat. I’m sure she will enjoy heaven.

Hey big brother,
Thank you, I had to wait a day before I could check out the blog – just a little emotional. I would like to thank all of you for your kind words. Taz is now in a better place and back to her spunky ways – watch out all you sibes, she has her own version of the “zoomies” that could easily rival any of you.
Your sister needs a big hug!!! It is so hard to lose a member of the family! But I believe a loving act to be there at the end!
So sad. Rest in peace Taz and have fun tormenting the others. Give your sis a big hug.
Ah sweet one…rest in peace…
Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
Sierra Rose

sigh. he had gorgeous pale green eyes… so sorry.
We had a kitty loss here, too. On Tuesday, my boyfriend’s cat had to be put to sleep, after suddenly getting very sick (supposedly with an aggressive cancer).
So sorry to hear about Taz.

Every time we must let go, it’s hard. And sad. Thank goodness the depth of grief can be paralleled by the height of joy. We hope your sister finds comfort in her memories, and knows that she is supported by all of us here who love our furries and who understand.
Run free, Taz. We’ll listen for your purrs in the wind.
Love

My thoughts are with your sister. A very tough decision but it sounds like she made it with Taz’s happiness in mind. It reminds us all to hug our pets.
Yes, no matter how long you have them, it is still hard to say good bye. Taz had a long life and it sure sounds like she was a happy girl. There must have been a grand reunion across the bridge.
