Rain Delay

Summer brings our regular afternoon thunder showers and the associated rain delay in outdoor activities.

Rain time

Rain time.

Our daily rains keep everything nice and green and the air cool, so we don’t really mind.

check

Maybe I will go check to see how hard it is raining.

A little rain doesn’t really cause any problems and some of us really enjoy wandering around in the rain.

damp fur

Had to get my fur nice and damp because the Hu-Dad really loves the smell.

But with that done, what should we do with the rain delay?

Thanks for bringing sweet memories of afternoon showers in the mountains. Does the mountain air after a shower smell as good in NC as it does in New Mexico?

Yes, we love the smell of rain. It leaves everything smelling so fresh.
