Getting Ready for the Big Day

The Maggie Valley Festival Grounds were busy all day as set up was underway for WinterFest Smoky Style. Of course, for us, that meant we are settled into our S-RV and are getting ready for the big day.

Timbers were delivered for the National Champion Haywood Community College Timbersports Team Demonstrations.

Our Opening Night Dinner featured Sgt. Brandon Gilmore explaining the training and work of law enforcement K-9’s.

Saturday is the big day and we hope to meet many readers from this area. Festival gate fee is only $2 for adults and $1 for children and all of those gate fees benefit the Friends of the Haywood County Animal Shelter.
