At sunrise, our temperature was -1ÂșF (-18ÂșC), but some pup in our house is predicting that spring is coming soon.

Some of you may think Typhoon was up to something in the above picture. Of course, that wouldn’t be a bad guess because Typhoon is ALWAYS up to something, but that is not the point of today’s post. Do you notice how he is predicting spring?

Yes, he is blowing coat.

The Little Prince has declared the end of winter and is blowing his winter coat. Twice a year, Siberian Huskies blow their undercoat to get ready for the change of season. And when we blow coat, it is a fur festival.

    Mom sez: Oh, my! Ice hasn’t even begun to blow his coat yet! Our Ayla was like Ty – she used to start blowing LONG before she should’ve.

    oh goodness yessssss. My best friend well best non breathing friend is our vacuum. Kodas coat has been blowing for a couple weeks now. His little treasures everywhere. Misha because she’s part Shepard doesn’t blow her coat so we literally have to brush and pick it out lol
    Snuggle up kids it’s gonna get stormy. That is after Sibe Quentin play time

    Oh yes…the blowing of the coat. It has also sprung up in our house. But with just one Sibe, it is much more manageable!!! LOL!!!

    I’ve been saving fur for several years to have it spun into yarn and a scarf knitted. Finding someone to do it, a little tricky.
