Uh, Dad. Rusty here. I know I kind of march to my own drummer and everything, but I really do try to follow all of the rules and instructions. Just in my own unique way. So I am really confused by this sign. I know we are only supposed to chew what you tell us to, but wouldn’t this taste really nasty and make a big mess?
Not chew ink, Rusty, chewink. A chewink is a bird, like a finch.
Got it. That would be good to chew. Mmmmmmmmm.
MAINTENANCE ALERT – This is striking fear in The Herd, but our hu-dad has decided to tinker with our website over the next couple of days. He has some ideas about how to make the website better, which usually results in significant downtime, connectivity issues, and all sorts of other problems. Apparently, “better” translates into “readers get mad because they can’t access the website.” English is very confusing to us and we prefer Siberian where “woo” means “woo”.
And, to make matters worse, he has this thing called a “job” which interferes with our website (and, frankly, the attention he is supposed to be devoting to our furriness). So sometimes he spots a problem, but can’t get right to fixing it.
So, hang in there, dear reader, and see if things are “improved” once he gets done.

We’ve seen some photos of Siberians who have chewed ink and the results weren’t pretty. You have very pretty white paws and legs, so maybe you should listen to your hu-dad.

I think ink sounds rather tasty…. Although it might make my tongue turn funny colors. But Mom would get made if I started chewing on birdies…. Maybe I should just stick to my stuffies…

Ahhhhhh, what a gorgeous pic of Rusty – look at those eyes. We would be confused by that sign too, buddy. Tell Dad not to do any tinkering, all is fine with us just the way it is.
When Brice saw the word “chewink”, he thought it meant that CHEoah was WINKing at him. But then he does have a rather inflated ego.
