Riddle Time

It’s riddle time! Ready? What is more fun than having one dog recovering from TPLO surgery?

why are you looking at me

Why are you looking at me?

Answer – Having TWO dogs recovering from TPLO surgery!

not very funny

That’s not a very funny riddle, Hu-dad.

No, Cheesewhiz, Hu-dad says it is not very funny, but he says that sometimes you just have to laugh.

in the house

Like when I came in the house holding my leg up like this?

Somehow, someway, Cheoah injured her leg Thursday.

right to silent

I have the right to remain silent and a right to consult with my attorney at claw. Besides, we were just wrestling and playing.

Vet appointment and x-rays on Friday confirmed CCL damage. We already have a consult scheduled with the specialist on Monday with surgery scheduled for Tuesday. We will not know for sure which surgery until Monday, but TPLO surgery is the most likely. Yes, just like the surgery from which Natasha is recovering.

P.S. – Hu-dad said something about ordering bubble wrap for the rest of us.

Time to go ahead and order a group carry sling at this rate. Poor babies. 🙁

Typhoon, you’re attorney at claw, Leena, is laying on my bed waiting to defend you for these egregious charges with lots of sad faces!

Mom says poor Hudad. We say poor girls! Really hard to believe 2 at a time.

Oh my…as they say, “When it rains, it pours.” Sorry Cheese Whiz! Sorry Hu-dad! Speedy recoveries to both your fur babies.

Wow, double whammy. Cheoah should do very well also. The herd is so active, I’d have them on a non-synthetic, natural source of glucosamine/chondroitin and green lipped mussel for their cartilage.

Oh hu-dad, when it rains it pours; I’m sure the other members of the Herd will be happy to help out with recovery of Cheesewiz and QNTE. Pierce and Piper have paws crossed for quick and easy recovery!!

OMD!! We thought 1 dog recovering from a toe amputation was plenty!!

  8. Sea Wolf on October 4, 2014 at 9:57 am

Good gracious. So sorry to hear of double troubles. Bubblewrap and duct tape might be a solution. Hope it all goes well. The Queen really doesn’t need company in the recovery room.

Oh no!!! So sorry to here that! Must be the season. My friend’s little Havanese tore her ACL and she goes in for surgery Tuesday. You have your hands full! Bubble wrap is a good idea! Hugs to the Herd!

Poor Cheoah! Hope all goes well with the surgery. Good luck with trying to keep two of them calmed down, Hu-dad! That bubble wrap may be a good idea.

Cannot believe it! Hope all goes well for Cheosh and Hu-dad. Positive thoughts coming your way!

sending positIve thoughts your way for quick healing. Praying for continued good health for the rest of the herd. You may need to hire a PT vet tech for temp help.

Oh Hu-Dad, I am so sorry. That has got to be very hard on you. One down in out is bad enough, but two. That’s hard. Good luck Hu-Dad. I hope cheese whiz recovers very good. Great big hugs and kisses to all the herd and no more hurting yourselves or others.

Mom sez: Oh, good grief! That’s incredible! Poor Cheoah! Hope she recovers as well, and as fast as ‘Tasha is doing! Maybe you should start thinking about opening a “casualty wing” at Sibe Quentin!
