Intruder Alert

Hu-dad was working away in his study when we sounded the intruder alert. Not a mild alarm, a BIG SERIOUS ALARM!

under the picnic table

Cheoah was relaxing underneath the picnic table (yes, under the table becomes a prize in the warming weather).

giant intruders

Oh, no! Look at those giant intruders! Alarm! Alarm!

crisis

The head of security, Kiska, quickly took command of the crisis situation.

wandering through our field

Mr. and Mrs. Wild Turkey were wandering through our field!

not seen

Oh, sure, hu-dad said the same thing. What is the big deal? But we haven’t seen them by the fence line in ages!

We have one wandering around too! I guess its the season for them from what I have been told here in NY. The huskies see them out the back window and get so fixed on watching them.

Noisy AND not close enough to become a snack…we would have sounded the alert, too!

Turkey dinner sounds pretty good about now! I think you should have been allowed to take further action!

We see them on our walks too – they sure can be very noisy ! Never a bad thing to sound the intruder alert.

Ice sez: Awooooo, I bet a “Six Sibe Alarm” would be serious. all right! If those turkeys are back, it MUST be spring! It sure doesn’t look like they were too afraid when the “alarm” went off, though. Mom sez to say she liked the pictures of everybody on “red alert”. Looked like they were taking care of the place, all right.
