Back on the Trails

While we love the winter, many of our favorite trails are inaccessible – either because the roads to the trail heads are closed or because the trails themselves are covered with snow and ice. With spring-like weather in our area, we were able to venture to a real trail Sunday. It felt great to be back on the trails.

mishap

Not that Typhoon didn’t have a “mishap” that he is telling everyone else about – and will tell you about tomorrow.

Thanks for all of the good thoughts and wishes for the hu-grandmom (hu-parent to our cousins Tartok and Ruby) who is undergoing knee replacement surgery Monday morning. Hu-dad will be hanging out at the hospital with her today – which means we can cause all sorts of mischief today without his knowledge!

Mom sez: Is there any NEW mishap Ty could get into? Doesn’t he have them all pretty well covered by now?
Hugz and prayers for the hu-Grandmom, and hopes for a successful and speedy recovery!

A mishap? Typhoon? I can’t imagine it. Good thoughts for your mom. I hope she recovers very easily!

Hope things went well for your Mom. We had just gotten back in the swing of daily walks when the snow and ice returned. Guess we will be exercising in our gated kingdom until we can find the walkways free of slippery stuff.

    Good luck, Hu-Grandmom!

I can’t imagine a certain youngster getting into trouble on the trail! We have extreme trail envy. I feel like we may never see them again. *sigh*

My mother in law had both knees replaced and the second one was a gender specific knee and she loves that one much more than the regular knee and she also said she healed much faster with the gender specific knee too. I hope all will go great with the surgery.ay God be with her and heal her fast. Hugs and kisses to the whole herd and humans too.
