Yes, we are on our third round of snow for the week which is to last into Thursday. And, then, just to make things fun, we will get a fourth round late on Friday. The humans, amazingly, are grumbling, but we think it is awesome. As we have been doing all week, we just want to share a few pictures from our Snow Week – Day 3.

With our Valentines Hearts for The Herd contest winding down, you have donated $1738 to Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation! Qannik continues to hold the fundraising lead with $419 and Frankie holds a slight lead over Typhoon in number of Valentines received with 47. We will reveal the winner after collecting the mail for a couple of more days!
We are down to the wire now. If you have not already, go mail your Valentine today and enclose a check or money order to Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation. Mail your valentine to us at this address and we will make sure every single penny goes to Sarge’s:
Dog’s Name
c/o The Thundering Herd
PO Box 1835
Maggie Valley, NC 28751-1835
Don’t forget that one lucky reader who has sent a Valentine will be selected to receive the Grand Prize donated by Smoky Mountain Dog Bakery!
The contest among ourselves is just for fun as the real winners are the animals that Sarge’s will be able to help because of your generosity. They find homes for an average of three animals every single day.
