The Rough and Tumble Life

Somehow, we have created this image that things are easy here at Chez Herd, but we need to remind you that we actually live the rough and tumble life of sled dogs. That’s right, we are working dogs and have to maintain that tough exterior at all times. We have asked Frankie to explain how severe things can be.

rough and tough life

My pillow has not been fluffed in at least an hour and this blanket is all crumpled.

Sorry that you had to see that with your own eyes, but we needed to make you a believer.

Hu-dad that was too good!! You speak for many working breeds that need fluffy and tending to. 🙂

I am calling the ASPCA right now and reporting the hu-dad for Frankie abuse.

    Not cool, hu-dad. Not cool.

This is just sheer torture–I can tell by the look on Frankie’s face! My dogs have it terrible also–each has a personal fan (despite having AC), blankets, chairs, beds, and leather couches to lie on. It’s a rough life, but someone’s gotta do it, right Frankie?

Dear Frankie, OMG! We can’t believe what your Hu-dad and hu-mom are not doing for the herd! My Sis fur Gracie has a great idea! If she calls the fur kids authoritys and files a complaint for you at the herd about poor blankie keeping those humans might get jealous that you have nice couchs and beds and try to move in your house! So instead Gracie said stand up and take your front paws and keep throwing the blankies off and they will fall down to the floor in a big wad. Gracie does it with rugs and blankies every day and gives or hu mom the clue to get with it.
We hope our advice works for you poor guys!

always Looking out for the under dogs!

OMG! Frankie !! Frankly my fur bro Harley and sis fur Molly were shocked at how crumpled your Blankies were. So we put our sis fur Gracie to the task of figuring out how to fix your situation! She said that if she filed a complaint with the fur kid authoritys against your Hu-dad that those humans might see how you have beds and couchs and nice ones and get jealous and try to move in your hu dads house! so Gracie decided it’s better if you just do what she does! Take your front paws while standing and use them to kick back the blankies and do it until the blankies are on the floor in a big ball. Gracie does it with rugs and blankets and it pees our hu mom off. It will give your Hu-dad the hint.. To get with the program and un scrunch your blankies Pronto! We hope our quick thinking solves your dilemma of blankie neglect!

LMAO! Such a dogs life! My Bruce sleeps in bed with us and sometimes right in between us. Poor spoiled rotten dogs we all have. It really saddens me that some people really do abuse their animals. No animal deserves it. Great big hugs and kisses to the herd.
