As we have described before, we have a large dog lot fenced behind the house affectionately known as Sibe Quentin. The dogs have full access to two large covered porches on either side of the house. However, we also have the “Forbidden Zone” located inside its own fencing right in the middle of Sibe Quentin.
Directly behind the den in the center of the house, this small fenced area is a human only zone. We have a grill and some seating just so the humans can eat outside without fear of a snatch and run.
No dog is ever allowed inside the Forbidden Zone, right, Frankie?

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Ayla sez: Yeah, me ‘n Ice would kinda like to know how Frankie got into the “Forbidden Zone” as well. And he didn’t even look guilty about being there!
I would be in the forbidden zone faster than you can say “no dogs allowed”.
Is it ever possible to keep a Sibe out of a place he wants to be?
Hehe… Sibe Quentin. π
Why would the humans want to be somewhere without Siberians?!? That’s just plain crazy!
Play bows,
Zim
And how did Mr. Frankie manage to get into the Forbidden Zone? You know now that he has been in there, he will manage it again, somehow. π
You would! But then, we think everything is made more fun with a canine companion! π
I’m glad to see that the rules at Chez Herd are STRICTLY enforced. π
-Dr. Liz, who has defined the Forbidden Zone to be any place the dogs don’t want to go – it makes it much easier to control things that way…
Frankie, I think you are the closest thing to a perfect Siberian I have ever seen, and I think you would make a perfect host… handing out little warm towels, gathering up the used (and not so empty) dishes. But I have to agree with Stella, I believe there would be a massive retribution!
Maybe you should stick to the furry side of the fence….
I think that’s what you might think, but NTE might have an entirely different thought!
Good luck,though!
Stella
