Our Newest Friend

We had come off a trail and stopped at the Mt Pisgah park service store on the Blue Ridge Parkway to water the dogs.  As often happens when we stop, people were driving by slowly oohing and aahing over The Herd.  Suddenly, we heard squeals of delight that were louder than the normal onlooker.  A van pulled over near us, the doors opened, and out popped several people — and the obvious reason that they were so enamored with a Jeep full of Siberian Huskies.  Please meet our newest friend (and the hu-dad really, really hopes he got the name right):

Ammy

Hi, I am Ammy. Glad to meet another human willing to pay me the attention I deserve.

Ammy2

Whoa - that is a lot of my cousins in that Jeep.

Ammy 3

It has been fun getting all of The Herd talking, but now I will just sit hear and enjoy all of the attention from these humans.

Ammy 4

A little to the right, please.

WOW that is one gorgeous Sibe! I don’t know that I’ve had the pleasure of seeing one with those beautiful color blends & such neat markings. Of course those ice blue eyes are the topper! I bet she loved The Herd with all their awesomeness!!

Ammy is definitely a good-looking Husky! It was great to hear that you made a new friend—The Rat Patrol hope you will like their new little brother Kipnuk when he comes home to us next week. We’re all very excited here and can hardly wait to see him!

(Now if only the hu-mom could figure out a really cool name like “The Thundering Herd” or “The Rat Patrol” for Kipnuk’s Facebook page… ~ Daisy)
