Where’s Lunch?

On a beautiful, sunny, spring day, Hu-Dad settled down at the outdoor table to work. Confused, Typhoon asked, “Where’s lunch?”

Why is the table empty? - Where's lunch?
Why is the table empty?

When the weather is pleasant, Hu-Dad sometimes leaves his office for the table in our outdoor pavilion, the same place the humans sometimes eat meals. Doing that creates some confusion. Why are we outside when we are normally inside? And if we are at the outside table, where are the snacks? Inquiring minds—and curious Typhoons—expect answers.
