Our Monday started off with a low of 18ºF, but by Thursday afternoon, we were flirting with 80º giving us our first real spring evening.
After frigid cold earlier this week (which we liked but the humans didn’t), our weather turned decidedly spring-like yesterday. In fact, it was so nice, Hu-Dad sat outside to read. Don’t worry, though, because we kept security watch to ensure no errant squirrels, rabbits, neighboring canines, or other critters pestered the Hu-Dad.

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.
Roscoe is so statuesque.
Such an intense look on that face. Ruby still can find snow so we are happy.
LOVE that picture Hu-Dad!!! Our weather has been getting warmer too and by the tufts of hair all over the house the dreaded brush has to be put to more use. Luckily our boy doesn’t mind too much!
