Professional Jealousy

During our afternoon walk, a moment of professional jealousy pitted the Little Prince against one of our larger feathered neighbors.

That was mine, feathered friend

We see lots of wildlife during our twice-daily walks, but nothing excites Typhoon more than rabbits. As long-time readers know, the Little Prince chased down many a bunny in his youth. Despite being 11 now, he thinks he still can. When a hawk swooped in front of us on the trail and snagged a rabbit, Typhoon thought he’d been robbed. Pardon the Royal tantrum, but he’s been outfoxed. Er, out-hawked.

The Little Prince was probably remembering those glorious days when he was “allowed” to go hunting for a meal!!

Oh WOW-it looks like the little prince Typhoon is saying(or thinking) HOW DARE that hawk get MY rabbit???? It seems rabbits are really something the dogs LOVE to chase and hopefully they think-get!
