A quiet afternoon exploring the yard when a twig breaks in the woods. The Little Prince goes on full alert and watches for movement.
We were enjoying a beautiful, if cold, day in the backyard. Canines were sniffing and Hu-Dad was shivering, but no one was in a hurry. Then, a sound. A twig breaks in the woods. Typhoon searches the shadows for an approaching threat, but nothing is spotted. A few minutes pass and things return to normal. And, no, we have no clue what was out there.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Typhoon just sent out a. message to the intruder that it was not safe to come any closer or else!????
I am with you Ty.. It is scary when a twig breaks and we don’t know what caused it!!
The Prince was ready to pounce !
I’m sure Typhoon was curious to know who or what made that sound in the woods BUT all was well!! Good job Little Prince.
