Roscoe and Typhoon love meeting new friends on the trail, but this one turned out to be quite the shy friend who wouldn’t talk to us.
We make many new friends when taking our twice-daily walks and love the extra attention and ear scratches. Our latest introduction, however, didn’t go quite so well because he turned out to be quite shy. Wouldn’t talk to us at all. Hu-Dad took the time to escort him safely across the trail.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
I just researched and learned a lot about eastern box turtles, thanks to Roscoe & Typhoon.
Always nice to meet someone new. You were very kind to help him out.
so curious! The little visitor probably got a good sniffing from the pups
I bet that was a funny meeting for both the herd AND the new visitor! Thanks Hu-Dad for escorting him across the road!
