Falling Into Autumn

Our walk yesterday afternoon gave us some early signs we were falling into autumn even if it is still August.

We enjoyed yesterday afternoon’s walk. Chattering kids ambled home from school. Cloudy skies gave us cooler temperatures. A very light drizzle chilled things a touch more. A gentle breeze rustled the trees. Leaves fell on our path. Wait. What? Falling leaves? Well, yes, the trees weren’t as green as a week or two ago and leaves drifted to the ground. Something tells us we are falling into autumn.

Fall please come soon. Michigan has seen way too much hot this year since May and we are all ready (including dogs with black fur) for the cooler temps and the great colors of the leaves.

Fall can’t come to upstate NY soon enough.. My poor girl hates the 90 degree tropical humidity weather. I agree with Jean!!!

NOT here Hu-Dad-temps in the 90’s and the humidity is very bad. I am looking FORWARD to the fall days you describe! It looks like the Herd was enjoying their walk!
