Typhoon Isaias Preparations

No, not Typhoon Isaias. We mean His Highness Little Prince Typhoon Phooey does his Tropical Storm / Hurricane Isaias preparations.

The salt marsh is looking calm.
The salt marsh is looking calm.

By the time you are reading today’s story, the first rains of Tropical Storm / Hurricane Isaias will be arriving here in Murrells Inlet. Based on the forecasts we are seeing, it should pass almost directly over us, so Hu-Dad secured things that could blow away. And Typhoon, being appropriately named for these events, supervised his efforts.

Don’t worry, though, Typhoon made sure the most important preparations have been completed and are ready to go.

P.S.—The peak of the storm will hit overnight Monday into Tuesday, well after deadline for our Tuesday post (aka, Hu-Dad’s bedtime), so we can’t promise what our post tomorrow will look like. If we’re late, don’t panic, just means we lost our internet and/or power.
