The Little Prince’s Pleasure

We try to explain what life is like with a dog as opinionated as Typhoon, but it’s hard to explain how difficult it is to gain the Little Prince’s Pleasure.

You want me to pose happily for the camera?
You want me to pose happily for the camera?

His Haughtiness Little Prince Typhoon Phooey is endlessly amusing in his constant demands for a more elevated lifestyle, but it’s hard to convince people he is as dismissive of those around him as he really is. We can only say that he really is exactly as haughty as we make him out to be.

Pshaw. I wouldn't be difficult if you people would just do as I ask.
Pshaw. I wouldn’t be difficult if you people would just do as I ask.

And for all of his eye rolling and deep sighing, none of that is quite as impressive as his stamping of the feety-feet, exhaustive sighs, and piercing stares when you have pushed too far (in his furry mind).

Seriously laugh out loud ! The last picture is priceless. Are you sure he is not part cat as well as stubborn Husky??

I, too, have a husky drama queen. People assume because she is cute and calm, she must be easy-going. But if dinner is a few minutes late…. the yowling reverberates off the soundboard of the piano! If left home when another dog is walking, she can be heard from a block away – even if it was her choice not to go. She got out of wearing a cone after surgery because the seasoned veterinary staff could not take any more of the non-stop husky insults, with the metal vet crate amplifying and the cone acting as a megaphone. She now has a soft pink foam cone befitting Her Ladyship. So we sympathize. But like you, I wouldn’t trade her for anything, sass and all!

He so reminds me of my Miss Blue who we lost this past March, her famous look and pose was “ Oh no honey, you may look all you want, but there will be NO touching!” “ and “if you point that camera/phone at me one more time I will disappear back to my bed for an hour or more” LoL sweet memories ????????

Hu-Dad-Typhoon Phooey is such a stuck up boy-lol. I guess he thinks he is the one who wears a crown? He is funny though and oh the looks he gives you.
