We spent an exciting weekend unboxing boxes as the big move continues, but at least one member of The Herd thinks we are going too slow.
We have boxes piled everywhere in the house and are working as quickly as we can unboxing and putting things away. But we also need to spend time walking dogs, tending to house renovations, and all of the usual parts of on-going life. Typhoon, however, has little patience for anything not directly impacting his comfort, so he has complained loudly about boxes in his way of zoomies.
After a long weekend of work around the house, we did pause last night to cook a complete dinner for the first time since settling in and enjoying the beautiful sunset. Our view is very different than it used to be, but it also reminds us every day of the amazing beauty that Mother Nature offers.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
i am going to miss the Tree of Life.
Beautiful view! Good luck in the new home to you and the Herd! We are getting ready to relocate this winter, any tips on helping the husky kids adjust to new digs & routine appreciated! Happy Unpacking!

Congratulations on the move! Those views are spectacular.

I lived the first 52 years of my life in the amazing Adirondack mountains in NY. The last 13 years have been here in Murrells Inlet in the beautiful low country of SC. Both are equally spectacular as yes,Mother Nature surrounds us with such beauty. #luckytohavehadboth #lowcounrtyishomenow
Funny I grew up in Lowville NY foot hills of the Adirondack Mountains. And live in Va Beach.
