The Air Is Out! A Flat Boom

A warm, sunny summer afternoon seems to have deflated Landon of his extra bounce leaving only a flat Boom Boom on the deck.

First, we aren’t looking for any sympathy. Our high temperature at the house yesterday was 74ºF (23ºC). We recognize that most of you think that would be amazingly nice, but Landon was trying to maximize his cooling opportunities by sprawling as wide as possible to capture the cool air coming from below the deck.

We would also like to point out that these really are all different photographs. In fact, we have dozens more that we chose to ignore. Apparently the Boom Boom is simply Boomless at the moment.

    Landon, you have the same reaction and look when it’s too hot and humid outside. We have really high temperatures today. We know you will get your boom back soon. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day.

    Hope you’re feeling some cool air and getting your Boom back soon, Landon! Our dog used to come inside and lie flat on the tile floor to cool off.

    I love 74 degrees. We live in Michigan with hot and humid and are in the process of finding northern areas to move that get no warmer than 75 in the summertime (of course there is always a possibility of a heat wave). The dogs who are german shepherds and I do better when we are not melting, melting, melting.
