We Siberian Huskies play lots of games. but Hide and Seek Herd Style might be one of our favorites. So good this is a two part post.
First, we should explain how our particular version works. The stalker hides until he has a good angle and then he seeks his target. That might be slightly different than the human version.
And part of the game is that “it” doesn’t know he is “it” until strike time. This adds to the fun of the game when not every participant understands what game is being played.
No worries, though, because “it” has as much fun in this game as the seeker.
Part Two tomorrow as we move to the chase sequence!
Movie Memory Monday
As Roscoe enjoys his new home, we go back to the previous adoptee, Landon, and when he joined the Herd. Hope you enjoy this look back to a classic Movie, Thankful Landon.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Hide and Seek Herd Style looks like so much fun. Especially getting to run around and have some good old fun. Thanks for sharing the lovely photos. Have a wonderful rest of your week.
It really is delightful to watch Roscoe enjoy his new home. Animals are so appreciative when their lives change for the better.
Just watched the video of Boom Boom AKA Landon being thankful during the Thanksgiving weekend of 2017. I know EVERY dog that is part of Chez Herd has LOTS to be thankful for. Great video!
Rocscoe and Typhoon make an incredible tag team-lol. Cannot wiat until tomorrow’s post to see WHO catches Who???
