Poor Substitution

With a relative warm spell upon us, Hu-Dad has not built a fire in the fireplace forcing Miss Cheoah to pick a poor substitution for comfort.

Why are you disturbing my nap with your camera? Poor substitution for my fire
Why are you disturbing my nap with your camera?

Our sunny weather and warm temperatures (high’s in the upper 40’s!) have made for some beautiful days, but Cheoah has been disappointed with one component. Hu-Dad has decided it is too warm in the house to have a fire in the fireplace. In protest, she has moved off her couch and into the dining room where a big, southern-facing window captures the afternoon sun.

Already on her bad side, Hu-Dad compounded his problems by insisting on capturing some photos of her enjoying the sun. Apparently, though, she was enjoying it better when a camera wasn’t present. We think the next look sums things up perfectly.

Can I go back to sleep now?

It’s difficult enough to have to put up with all those goofy little brothers…but now no nice warm fireplace to curl up beside????!
We hope the weather gets cold again soon…and Hu-Dad makes fire again!!!

Oh CheeseWhiz… the insensitivity of it all! No crackling warm fire in the fireplace, having to find a nice balmy sunbeam to rest in, and enduring the “click” “click” “click” of that dreaded camera!!! How does a girl withstand such rudeness!

Miss Cheoah-although you don’t speak human language-you SURELY get your point across. I am actually hoping for some cooler temps for you so Hu-Dad will light the fireplace you enjoy SO much!
