Our camping trip took an quite unexpected and exotic turn when Mother Nature subjected us to a vicious wild cat invasion.
When we hang out in our campsite on our picket line, Hu-Dad expects us to be calm and quiet no matter who walks past. We questioned the rules when these creatures tried to claim our campsite as their own.
We yelled at them, but reinforcements appeared from the woods.
Oh, sure, some of you are saying they are cute, but let’s be clear they are armed and dangerous. This photo proves it.
P.S. – Yes, this is a colony of feral cats living in the woods right behind our campsite. The gray one has been particularly brave and taunted us several times.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Charlee: “Wow, our feral cousins seem to have quite the attitude.”
Chaplin: “Mama says I have an attitude too sometimes.”
Charlee: “Not to the point of taunting an entire pack of dogs.”
Chaplin: “Well, I have attitude. I’m not crazy.”
Charlee: “We wanted to come and thank you all for being Dennis’s good friends for all these years.”
Chaplin: “Yes, it meant a lot to him, and to Mama and Dada too.”
Charlee: “Dennis told us to come and tell you ‘ok bye’.”
Both: “Ok bye.”
There is a colony of feral cats in the farm behind us (they are barn cats). Every once in a while they venture through the field into our property … I’m not sure if it’s a rite of passage for the cats or for them to laugh at how stupid they can make the dogs act
Oh wow-our boy does NOT like kitties at all. He moans and groans at the site of just one-this group would have set him off in a frenzy of being upset!!! What good sibes to CONTROL themselves-lol!!
Someone loves and cares for these feral kitties.
Wow… such vicious beasts invading your campsite! What’s a Sibe to do!!
Nice, healthy looking kitties. Did they drive Landon nuts?
WOW! They look pretty healthy for feral cats!!
That could be a real problem with 1 Sibe, must be quite a challenge with 4 !!!!
