Careful What You Wish For

Landon learned one of the most valuable lessons possible thanks to an older sibling – always be careful what you wish for.

Come on, Frankie, let's play.

Come on, Frankie, let’s play.

After our evening walk, Frankie wanted to sprawl in the study and snooze until bedtime (Frankie’s motto – Always take a nap before you sleep!), but Landon kept begging him to play a little. Woos and play bows – who could resist?

Come on. Please. Please. Please.

Come on. Please. Please. Please.

Soon enough, Frankie obliged his little brother. Sort of. Landon anticipated that the wrestling match would involve racing around the house in a rousing game. Frankie had a slightly different plan.

CHOMP. Isn't this what you wished for, little bro?

CHOMP. Isn’t this what you wished for, little bro?

P.S. – Every year, we take a pledge to absolutely, positively not mention that today is the Hu-Dad’s sister’s birthday. And, once again, we will not say a word.

Landon is keeping Frankie on his toes. We’re never too old to play. I was also wondering about hu-grandmom, Tartok and Ruby. I’ll chime in and (not) wish hu-auntie a Happy Birthday today!

Big brother has his way of dealing with a playful little brother when he wants to nap – pin him with the first wrestling move. It is sweet that you are so good about not mentioning Hu aunties birthday. Of course we will honor that and not wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY HU AUNTIE.????????????

First of all, I applaud you for keeping your pledge to NOT mention your sister’s birthday! So I will pledge NOT to say Happy Birthday to you, hu-dad’s Sister!!!

Secondly, good pin on Boom Boom, Frankie Suave! That’s the way to rescue your pre-bed nap time!!!

Owieeee !! Lookout Landon ! You might lose some neck fur to big brother’s CHOMP! Guess you might have to woo UNCLE before big bro lets you up.

I remember the ”no wishing hu auntie a happy birthday” vow which I will observe.

P.S. How are Ruby, Tartok and hu grandmom?

Mom sez: Frankie, usually so “docile”, has at last reached his limits. You want to play, I’ll show you PLAY, Landon!
