Happy Thanksgiving 2017! All of our U.S. friends are celebrating the holiday today and we wish them a great day (and lots of turkey).
We are thankful for so much this year including healthy dogs and all of our readers. We hope you have a great day with family and friends – and try not to eat too much.
P.S. – You may have noticed some changes on the website today. We have revamped a few of the pages to make them friendlier and easier to read, particularly on mobile devices. Note that we have several pages that haven’t been updated yet, but we decided to go ahead and turn the new system on since we expect website traffic to be very light on this holiday.
If you notice any issues, feel free to go to the contact page and let us know (or just a drop a comment below).

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.

Now that’s having “wolves at the door!” Love this Herd! ????
Love the new banner photo.
For shame! How can those nasty humans expect you to be thankful if you can’t even be in the kitchen guarding against nom drops!
So far, so good. Love Cheoah’s bright eyed expression.
Looks good! It was in my junk mail as well 🙂
Happy Turkey Day!
Happy Thanksgiving.
Your change may explain why this mornings Post was in my Junk mail folder. I have now added the address to my contacts so that will not happen again.
The photos are larger and makes it easier to see the gorgeous faces of the Herd. They are all so beautiful.
Good luck with your website changes. Hope all goes smoothly.
Yes, sorry about that. That was not the fault of the email service. Hu-Dad forgot an email setting that would communicate we were not sending spam. We have chewed on him to make the fix for tomorrow.
