Decorating Our Campsite Just Like Home

When we are on an S-RV vacation, we enjoy decorating our campsite to remind us of home – maybe a little more than Hu-Dad appreciates.

A little family time in the campsite.

A little family time in the campsite.

After spending the day on some excursions and other adventures, we retired to some quiet time in our campsite. Hu-Dad’s rules are that we have to be quiet (believe it or not, the infamous no singing in the campsite rule). As long as we are quiet, we can enjoy the great outdoors. A couple of us got so comfortable, we decided to make the campsite seem more like home.

Just moving a little sand.

Hu-Dad really appreciates our efforts, but, for some unknown reason, he fills in our carefully crafted holes before we check out of a campsite. Something about other campers may not appreciate our artistic abilities. Go figure.

Isn't this just like home?

Happy Halloween! Hu-Dad says we are not the only magical creatures he has met. He told us some tale about a mystical talking jack-o’-lantern he met as a child. We will let you decide for yourself whether you believe him or not.
