When his big brother calls, Boom Boom is quick to answer. The only question is why was Frankie Suave calling for his shadow.
A quiet fall evening, so Landon was wandering around the yard checking things out. But then his big brother called for him.
Was Landon in trouble? Had he done something wrong? Was Frankie Suave upset? Of course not. Just time for some games.

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?
October 29, 2024
Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.
Mom sez: Just a curiosity question — do the Herd members EVER get into a serious, “for real” squabble?
Usually it is a quick growl growl until someone falls into line. Kiska and Frankie are the most likely to tell someone to behave (and that someone is usually Typhoon and, to a lesser extent, Landon).
It has been a very long time since we have had a serious fight. Natasha and Kiska got into it once probably 8-9 years ago and Natasha lost a tooth (and Kiska lost the battle). Weirdly, they were thick as thieves after that until the day Natasha left us.
Cheoah does seem to be the favored chew toy. ;))
I love videos like this one…it makes us feel better knowing our Huskies’ rough play is just play. When we added the 2nd fluff bottom to our pack, the older Husky was very rough on him. And the sounds! I thought for sure they were trying to kill each other. Now we know such roughness is normal (as normal as you can get for a Husky). So, thank you Herd for sharing your days with us.
You can really see the weight Ty has put on! So skinny in the throwback Thursday!
Oops…..so good to see the Queen! I’ll second that!
So good to the the Queen!
