When hanging in a campsite during an RV trip, the importance of picket line cool can not be overstated. Let Typhoon demonstrate.
When we hang out in the campsite, we are on a picket line. For those unfamiliar, it is a single cable that has a number of “drop lines” or “pickets” for individual canines. It is an easy, convenient way for all of us to enjoy the great outdoors in our campsite, yet still appear orderly. Or, at least, as orderly as a group of Siberian Huskies can appear.
The real key is to look cool on the line. Let Typhoon demonstrate.

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?
October 29, 2024
Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.
Does your oldest Husky still like to roam? I have a female Husky (Cheyenne) she’s 10 yrs we got her at shelter when she was 6 months. our male Lab(Stetson) knows how to open the gates in the backyard. he will open gates for her she takes off & he is on the deck. lol do Huskies ever out grow the roaming? We’ve put latches on gates but not everyone remembers to do so. love your stories btw
Everyone would roam given half a chance – some much farther than others.
P.S. – Hu-Dad does not call it Sibe Quentin for nothing. The gates are padlocked with not one, but two padlocks and a heavy duty chain.
Mom ‘n Ebby say: Oh, man — er, er, I mean Dog! You look SO cool, Ty.
I’m surprised you got a still shot for him…how long did it take? 😛
Lots of walking before the picket line – that helped.
You are one hot dog Typhoon!!! ❤
