Almost All Tired Out

We were up early Sunday morning for a good bit of walking, perfect in the cool spring air. And we arrived home almost all tired out. Almost.

This is good Hu-Dad, but I might have to move.

After our crowded park walk on Saturday, we decided to go much earlier in the day to avoid the crowds. The morning was absolutely picture perfect, so we did run into quite a few people, but we were still able to enjoy a lengthy morning walk. When we arrived back home, the afternoon sun had made things a little warm. Well, for us. Our high was 70ºF (21ºC) which hits our definition of perfect afternoon napping weather on our covered porches, so that is what we did.

See, I moved. I am a working breed.

While Frankie was taking advantage of Hu-Dad’s lap as a pillow, Cheoah was just to the side enjoying belly rubs. You can see her paws in the picture above. There was just one minor problem.

There is some pup behind me, isn't there?

Yes, we did say at the beginning of this post that we were all ALMOST tired out. And the almost referred to the all. One young pup still seemed to have some energy.
