The Problem With Reputations

Typhoon often wonders – is it the problem with reputations – or the reputation of being the problem – that is the bigger issue.

Typhoon being good.

Typhoon being good.

Typhoon loves his role of troublemaker and juvenile delinquent, but sometimes he does his very best to be good. And no one believes it.

Hi, Big Bro, just laying here. Not causing problems.

Hi, Big Bro, just laying here. Not causing problems.

The doubt on his big brother’s face pretty much sums up the dilemma for young Typhoon. Everyone is waiting for the delinquency to break out and take over.

Good? Typhoon? Are you kidding?

Good? Typhoon? Are you kidding?

Unfortunately, Typhoon is learning the biggest challenge of reputation management. It takes more than a few minutes of good behavior for anyone to believe that a change has really happened.

So I might as well be bad, right?

It’s ok Typhoon, as I always say my Huskies are as sweet as they are rotten….and I love their sweetly rotten little souls! I say live your reputation, you’re loved just the way you are!

It’s a self-fulfilling prophesy. They should treat Typhoon like he is an angel and his good behavior will come out.

Typhoon: Angels can be bad too… hee-hee… why should I be good when being bad is so much fun?

You can kinda see Typhoon’s wheels turning, with those ears back. Frankie’s so handsome.

Shanuk feels your pain! Sort of. Actually – he doesn’t really care. It’s more fun to be…….interesting.

Oh Typhoon you little hooligan. You know you always going to be a bit bad… maybe a ‘bit’ is stretching the truth here.

Since it’s pretty tough to change your siblings’ impressions of you, yeah, you might as well be bad. Much easier to tow the line than to try to sell everyone on a new image! 😉
