This may seem strange to the rest of our canine pals, but we have outside rules and inside rules. Outside, we can run, wrestle and create havoc to the best of our abilities.
Inside, we have to be on our best behavior. You know, sort of like this . . .
Are the rules the same at your house?

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Same rules here, but sudden bursts of enthusiasm, usually post dinnertime, occur between our two youngest rescues, and wild play ensues from couch to couch and sometimes, a good loud shout has to restore order.
We have the same inside and outside rules, but of course no one obeys them. Hey, they’re dogs.
The Jopling clan have the same rules. Funny to see the foster dogs get scolded by the pack when the fosters still come into the house when they start doing zomies. Although, on occasion the pack, tends ro forget the rules and I have to remind them!!!!
Yes, our outside rules include being able to roach on the grass and run up on the hillside and get muddy feet. Inside rules require us to jump on the bed as soon as possible AFTER having been on the aforementioned hillside, so Mom and Dad can enjoy the mud, too, while it is nice and fresh! 🙂
Ice ‘n Ebby say: Mom says the same rules are SUPPOSED to apply at our house, but every once in awhile, something inside us Sibes seems to go “SPROING”, and we go into what Mom calls “spazz mode”, where Ice goes charging down the hall with Ebby in hot pursuit, and where Ice slows down by the time he gets to the bedroom door, Ebby keeps going, and banks off Mom & Dad’s bed, then back into the chase back down the hall.
