Sleep Interruption

We all know what it is like. Just when you get really comfortable, really deep into a good dream, along comes a sleep interruption.

Kiska

Kiska heard Hu-dad trying to take a photo, so jumped up to investigate (and get an ear scratch).

Sometimes that interruption is a very quiet sound like a camera click (or, as Hu-dad says, the click-clack of paws late at night when we are all supposed to be asleep).

Frankie

Frankie hears someone softly snoring.

Of course, some of us can sleep through those minor annoyances.

quite comfortable

Cheoah doing the soft snoring . . . and quite comfortable.

On the other hand, some sounds are so loud, no one can sleep, so you might as well join.

I have a male GSD and four mixed breed rescues. The GSD never feels the need to join in ‘song time’ and neither does one of our female rescues. The other three (two males and a female) have a compulsion to sing at night and during the day and nothing will stop them, until they have decided they are done!

Ice ‘n Ebby want to know: Does the Herd have a “music period” every day at some point? Who is the best “song leader”?
